Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known by her highly commendable performances in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with many awards for her performance and has even won an Oscar. The talented actress began her career in acting on the stage by performing in a myriad of Broadway as well as Off-Broadway productions. The actress has always had an interest in acting from the time she was in high school. Her debut role in a show in the fifth grade was Helen Keller. Mumps made her lose hearing in one her ear, however this was not enough to stop the actress from pursuing her dream.
